French Illumination

In my previous blogs, I came to a conclusion that remain indecisive as I have one point on why the Illuminati can still exist (my second blog) and one against (my third blog). In this blog, I will be investigating the first major event that the Illuminati may have played a hand in, The French Revolution. If they did play a hand, it would prove that the Illuminati did exist during this period in time.

What was the French Revolution?

The French Revolution was a bloody rebellion that lasted from 1789 to 1799. During that period in time, the French people rebelled against the royal monarchy, demanding changes to the political system.
In the end, at least 40000 people were killed, including the king and queen at the time, and over 300000 were arrested.
Although the revolution ended up for naught, as a dictatorship was established in place of the royal monarchy, it did spark a change that was felt worldwide. The revolution established the foundations for the modern state to be governed by the people.

What has this got to do with the Illuminati?

Many conspiracists believe that the French Revolution was the first major event that the Illuminati played a major role in.
Supposedly, after years of planning underground, Adam Weishaupt ordered a carrier to deliver a message to Maximilien Robespierre, whom was a lawyer and a politician in Paris, to start the French Revolution. On his journey, however, the carrier was struck by lightning, and died. When officials came to investigate, they discovered the book he was carrying, which detailed the plans for the French Revolution. As a result, a warning was issued to the French monarchy of a devilish plan by the Illuminati, to take over the country and develop a scientific state, ruled by the people and where there is no religion. It is speculated that the monarchs ignored this warning, thus ultimately paid the price.

Why France?

It is believed that France was the embodiment of everything the Illuminati stood against. France was ruled by a monarchy who held the absolute power in the country. Furthermore, the monarchy was deeply intertwined with the Catholic Church. Both the Monarchy and the Catholic Church heavily taxed the commoners, as they own almost all the land in the country. As a result, many commoners struggled to survive. This deeply angered the Illuminati.

How Did They Do It?

According to multiple websites, the Illuminati started the French Revolution in a complex matter. Firstly, the Illuminati created resentment within the French commoners towards the upper class. The Illuminati then preached of ideals, such as equality, that were uncommon during that time period. The commoners bought into this. The Illuminati then organized rebellions to take over certain French fortresses, to seize power from the upper class. The rest is believed to be history, as rioters would go on to kill the king and queen, uprooting the French monarchy, only to have it replaced by a dictatorship, when Napoleon, the greatest conqueror to have ever lived, became leader.

In the end, the Illuminati was never able to establish a science state, ruled by the people. However, was that their plan all along? Or was it a ploy, to get commoners to join their cause?
According to my previous blogs, the Illuminati never wanted to create a world ruled by the people, rather wanted to create one world government, ruled by the elites. If that is truly the case, the Illuminati may have achieved a part of this plan when Napoleon became the dictator of France. Many conspiracists believe Napoleon was actually an Illuminati member. However, it should be noted that there is no evidence to support this claim.

All in all, I believe the Illuminati did play a hand in the French Revolution. The reason being so is because the French commoners, who had very little education, were fighting for ideals, such as equality, that were extremely unheard of during that time. The only rational reason is that somebody educated preach this to them. According to multiple sources that studied The French Revolution, which includes the History Channel, the French commoners were indeed preached by an enlightened group. This could have very well been the Illuminati. In conclusion, I truly believe the Illuminati played a role in the French Revolution, thus did exist from 1789-1799.

Public Secret

In my previous blog, I had talked about the power structure of the Illuminati and came to the conclusion that the Illuminati can possibly still exist. In this blog post, I will investigate the possible reasons on why the Illuminati is so well known.

The Illuminati is supposedly a "secret" organization, yet, the whole world knows about their existence and their plans for world domination. Here are some potential reasons as to why:

According to some, the Illuminati purposely reveals bits of information about themselves on the internet in order to get people talking about it. As a result, those spreading the news are seemed as nut jobs, and their word is not taken seriously, thus, the idea of the Illuminati being a threat is dismissed.
Analysis:
At first glance, this seems like a rather ingenious idea. It uses reverse psychology, which is a proven method, to explain why the Illuminati are so well known.
Leak information about your secret organization, which exists, and its plans on the internet, and let people spread it. Nobody will believe it, as they will all think it is all a hoax. However, on further analysis, this reasoning proves to be invalid. Firstly, hardly anyone knew of the Illuminati in the first place, so why would the group suddenly spread info about themselves on the internet, increasing their popularity? Secondly, for a secret organization, spreading information on the internet seems rather uncharacteristic. Some may argue the Illuminati did this with an alternate motive in mind. Perhaps the Illuminati may have done this to gain publicity, but again, why would a secret organization need publicity in the first place, especially one with power and wealth? I deem this idea INVALID.

Others believe the Illuminati purposely reveal false information on the internet, in order to detract those who are interested in the group from discovering their true existence. Therefore, everything we know about the Illuminati is not true.
Analysis:
This is entirely possible, but highly unlikely. The reason being so is because why would a powerful, and wealthy group be worried enough to spread false information on the internet, so that people cannot track them. Furthermore, why would the group leak info that increases interest among the conspiracist community? If you didn't want anyone to track you, you would not leak highly controversial "plans to take over the world". Furthermore, there is so much articles, blog, and stories dedicated to explaining the Illuminati plans for world domination. I highly doubt they are all lies leaked by the Illuminati. Therefore, I deem this idea to be INVALID

Former members of the Illuminati leaked info about the group on the internet.
Analysis:
This is a very real possibility. There are countless websites and blogs on the internet dedicated to revealing the true secrets of the Illuminati. In most cases, the author is claiming he/she is a former member of the Illuminati, and that their information is first hand. However, on analysis, why does a powerful and wealthy group such as the Illuminati allow members to come and leave as they please? Furthermore, why are the members allowed to share "top secret" information?
According to anonymousmags.com, a high ranking member of the Illuminati, who has served under them for 47 years, revealed everything about their plans, simply because "it became to much for him too bear". He talks about how Obama is the devil incarnate, and how Denver, Colorado is hiding a secret underground bunker for the world's elite. All of the information, if true, are shocking, and should be highly classified.
It should be noted that the author of the article does not provide any logical explanation, or any proof to back up his claims, as a result, I deem this idea INVALID.

Update: I attempted to email the author of the article as he had stated in his article "if anyone has questions feel free to email me" but he failed to reply.

The media popularized the Illuminati:
According to an unnamed source, the Illuminati is popular today because the media has made it so. Everything we know of the Illuminati, their goals, group composition, and etc., are all byproducts of the internet. According to the source, the Illuminati was never really popular until recently, when Dan Brown's bestselling series "Angels and Demons" was published. In the series, the Illuminati is portrayed as a secret society, with the ultimate goal of ruling the world. When people read this, they began to interpret the Illuminati in different context. Eventually, similar to how broken telephone works, the internet spun the story of the Illuminati out of control, and people with no prior knowledge began to believe. Thus, this is how the Illuminati came to be.
Analysis:
As an avid reader of the Angel and Demon series myself, I can confirm the information provided is true. Moreover, in my personal experience, nobody knew of the Illuminati until this book became popular. From the mid 1900s to the early 2000s the Illuminati was virtually unheard.
I interviewed several of my relatives and friends, ages ranging from 12 to 55. Those who had heard of the Illuminati were all kids who grew up with the internet. The adults on the other hand, never heard of the Illuminati. One Uncle even thought the Illuminati was a name for a specific type of vegetable. This theory explains a lot. I deem it VALID.

In conclusion, although the Illuminati may have a power structure that would allow them to survive throughout the century, the only rational reason to explain their popularity is if they were fabricated. However, there is not enough evidence to make a claim, therefore my project on discovering whether the Illuminati exists or not remains ongoing.

Power Structure

The Illuminati has allegedly been around for about 240 years since their humble beginning in 1776. Very few organizations have been around for that long. Poor decisions leading to bankruptcy, as well power struggles, and a number of other factors tend to play a role in bringing down an organization. So how has the Illuminati avoided this?

Adam Weishaupt, the de facto leader and founder of the Illuminati potentially played a huge role. At a young age, Adam's father passed away, leaving him to be cared for by his godfather, Baron Ickstatt, who was the dean of the University of Ingolstadt, in Bavaria. As a result of his godfather's status, Adam was able to receive a full education, and became a philosopher and a university law professor. By doing so, Adam slowly built a reputation as an educated and intelligent man. He became wealthy and influential, as a result, made friends with some powerful people.

When Adam created the Illuminati, he did it with the help of his friends. Together, they built an organization from the ground up. Due to Adam's good reputation as an educated and intelligent man, recruiting members to join the cause was easy. This explains how the Illuminati was able to establish itself early. Yet, the question remains, how did the organization continue to exist, throughout the century, after Adam had long passed away? The answer, may very well be under our noses. The Roman Catholic Church.

The Roman Catholic Church is an example of an "organization" that has survived throughout the centuries. It's influence spans across the globe, with it's members populating every single part of the world. The Illuminati, in a way, are very similar. They allegedly have an influence that spans across the globe, and are also believed to have members all over the world. The Catholic Church is a huge organization, yet it manages to stay organized and "control" all of it's members because it has a power system, with the pope at the top. The Pope does not control every aspect of the Catholic faith, rather there are divisions, each with their own responsibility. Is it entirely possible that the Illuminati has a system similar to that of the Catholic Church? If they did, it would explain how they managed to survive throughout the century.

Analysis: Adam was a university professor who specialized in law. He would have probably understood that he couldn't do everything by himself. As a result, it is extremely likely he would have created divisions of power within the Illuminati, each with their own responsibility. Adam's rich and influential friends probably would have been near the top of the pyramid, with the newer members occupying the lower levels.
When Adam passed away, the Illuminati would have probably decided its new leader with a vote between the top members, similar to how a new Pope is selected by the top members of the Catholic Church (Cardinals). That way, the organization can continue operating and there would be no disagreement on who the successor should be. It is also entirely possible that Adam had an apprentice, in which he groomed to be the next successor.
With the Power system, the Illuminati probably would have worked on a need to know basis. The lower rank you are, the less you would know, and vice versa. This would ensure members do what they are suppose to and stay loyal to the organization. Money would have not been a problem as Adam was wealthy, and so were his friends. Throughout time, the Illuminati would have found some way to generate more income, most likely through donations from it's top members, as well as possibly establishing a business, however, that has yet to be proven.

Through the power system, it is entirely possible for the Illuminati to continue operating through the century. Therefore, as of this blog post, the Illuminati can possibly still exists.

However, it should be noted that this is an assumption on whether or not the Illuminati has a power structure. There are some websites that have talked of the Illuminati power structure, but they fail to provide any reliable source which indicates where they have gotten their information. The analysis done was based on the given information that is widely agreed upon on the internet.

Origins

Rumors has it that the Illuminati is an ancient and mysterious group comprised of the world's elite. It was believed to be founded back in the 1700s by a Bavarian named Adam Weishaupt. Many conspiracists believed that Adam created the Illuminati as an alternative to the Stonemasons, another secret society. Adam wanted to work on his own terms, and had a different set of goals in mind.

The Illuminati is believed to be trying to take over the world, so that they can form ONE world government. Their end goal? To be able to act as GOD and control every single aspect of life.

Their plans were derailed, however, when the Bavarian ruler at the time banned all secret societies. Many believe that this was the point in time when the Illuminati disbanded, and ceased to exist. A minority, however, claimed that the secret society continued to carry out it's plans, underground, where they can avoid the authorities.

Some believe that the Illuminati have already achieved their plans of world domination and that we are all pawns in their grand schemes. Others disagree with this notion, claiming that the Illuminati stated there would be three world wars that would lead to their eventual domination. So far, there has only been two.

There are conspiracists that believes the Illuminati  never even existed at all. Firstly, for a secret society, why does the whole world know about them? Secondly, why would a secret organization reveal their plans to take over the world?

For my 20 times project I will be diving deep into the histories, deciphering hints and clues in order to ultimately answer the question" does the Illuminati exist and if so, what are their plans?" In order to do so, I will be researching the origins of the Illuminati and tracking their alleged appearances over the centuries. I will be investigating incidents related to the group, asking questions such as how was the Illuminati involved and are there any other plausible explanation to what happened? I will be using critical analysis, logic, as well as multiple sources to determine the real information from the fakes.

My name is Richard Nguyen and I do not believe in the existence of the Illuminati. I personally believe people make things up in order to provide answers to the unknown. We, as a society, are afraid of what is not known. For example, the dark is just the absence of light. Yet we are afraid of it, afraid of what is hiding in the dark. In most cases, there is nothing, but our minds creates "scary thoughts" in order to provide an answer to the question that we have no answers to, which is, "what is in the dark?"

So come, and join me, as I unravel one of society's biggest conspiracies, The Illuminati.

Bonus: According to people.Virginia.edu, the Illuminati was actually formed THOUSANDS of years ago when humans genetically interbreed with a reptilian extraterrestrial species. Most of the elite members in society are actually shape-shifting reptilians, scary!

The word Illuminati means enlightened one

According to whatculture.com, the Illuminati's original symbol was not the all seeing eye, or the pyramid, rather an owl. The owl represents knowledge and wisdom, something the Illuminati claim to have. (It is obviously a genius idea to leak your plans of "word domination" online).

According to humansarefree.com, there are thirteen bloodlines that are entitled to rule the world. The reason being so is because they are all descendants of the ancient Gods. Supposedly, all thirteen has ties with the Illuminati. (wait! I thought the Illuminati did not believe in God!)
